Bipasha Basu Upcoming Movie Shaadi Fast Forward Opposite R Madhavan

Madhavan, who is on a high after the super-success of Tanu Weds Manu will now be seen in another rom-com Shaadi Fast Forward.

Shaadi Fast Forward is a romantic comedy directed by Ashwini Chaudhary which brings together the unusual pairing of Bipasha Basu and R Madhavan. This is the first time Bipasha and Madhavan will be working together. Apparently, they loved the script and signing the film immediately.

The lead pair will soon fly to Greece for a long outdoor schedule. The film is likely to release in February next year.

Omi Vaidya who was with Madhavan in 3 Idiots and with Bipasha in Players will also be a part of this film. Besides him, the film also stars Dipannita Sharma and Mrinalini Sharma.

Dhoni, Bipasha come together for Reebok

For the first time ever, Reebok has roped in their brand ambassadors ace cricketer MS Dhoni and sultry Bipasha Basu for their new ad which showcases the latest edition of HEXRIDE footwear. The footwear comes in a new hexagonal, honeycomb style which will lure one and all.

The TV commercial shows Dhoni and Bips in a fun-run with their new comfortable and attractive footwear.

Bipasha’s hot bedroom Scene with Billy

Bipasha Basu is daring enough to reveal herself in films. She is one such actress in Bollywood who shows no hesitation in exposing herself or going hot with her co-stars. The bong bombshell is going to cross the limit this time by going hot and bold on bed with Hollywood actor Billy Zane in her debut Hollywood flick, ‘Chimera’.

Directed by Tapan Sinha with filmmaker Daniel Silverman, the film will hit the theatre by the end of July. Though Bips hides the intensity of the scene, Tapan Sinha spills the beams, Saha said, “Chimera is a paranormal thriller. Zane plays an American doctor, who takes up an offer in India to work in a hospital. There, he treats Bipasha. I’ve approached Shabana Azmi to play Bipasha’s mother. I’d want Anil Kapoor to play Billy’s Indian friend.”

About the much anticipated love scene, the director further said, “Bipasha has a love-making scene that Indian cinema hasn’t seen her doing before.”

Hope John Abraham does not having any problem about his sweetheart going cozy with a Hollywood guy.

Bipasha Basu is into belly dancing

It’s not for a film. Not this time. Starting this week, Bipasha Basu is taking a month off to fulfil one of her long-cherished dreams.“This month-long holiday fell into my lap when the Lamhaa schedule got postponed by a month to April 20. I’m now using this time to do what I always wanted to. I’m learning…belly dancing.”

Belly dancing? Is it for a movie? “No no it’s something I wanted to learn for a long time. I wanted to indulge in a dancing skill that didn’t require too much pressure on my knees which are not doing too well. So salsa and other dance forms were out.”

So is this for a film. Or for private performance with John Abraham?

“Neither,” Bipasha chortles. “I’m learning belly dancing for myself. I love dancing. I don’t have really fantastic knees. And I didn’t want to learn any dancing that would put pressure on my knees. Of course I’d love to do belly dancing on screen too. And I’ll incorporate it into my roles for sure.”

Earlier this week Bipasha woke up her business manager in the middle of the night to look for a belly dancing school. “The impulse just came on me. She located a proper institute which I’m enrolling into.”

Belly-dancing is not all that Bipasha is learning. “I’m also learning swimming and driving in this month-long unexpected holiday. Swimming is something I learnt a bit for Dhoom 2. For Dhoom no swimming skills, only the body was required. So I pulled it off. But I really don’t know swimming and I’m finally learning it. For Goa’s sake.”

Bipasha explains, “Goa is my favourite holiday spot. When I get into the water in Goa I just float. Now I want to swim in the Goan waters. Not just for fun. But because it’s a very good exercise. And swimming brings so much grace to your body language.”

As for driving, it’s more of a challenge that Bipasha has taken up to prove her boyfriend John wrong. “As we talk I’m in the fourth day of my driving lessons. I can drive straight left and right. But I can’t reverse yet. So now I can look convincing when driving. In almost all my films I’m shown driving. But I’ve never actually know how to drive.”

Learning driving is Bipasha’s way of self-empowerment. “I don’t want to be dependent on others to drive me around. I want to drive myself to the gym. And if there’s a medical emergency in the night I can drive my way to the hospital.”

Bipasha’s boyfriend thinks women make terrible drivers. “All these years John has been cribbing about women drivers. He fells they can’t drive well. I had warned him he’d have to zip up the day I learnt to drive. No more cribbing about women drivers.”

Laughs Bipasha, “When I tell my friends I’m learning so many things in the next one month they think I’m gone mad. But I’ve this unexpected month off. And I want to surprise myself.”

It's swimming time for Bipasha Basu

Well, bong babe Bipasha Basu is not really completing her unfinished education. She is actually busy learning new skills.

Apart from trying to convince her boyfriend John Abraham not to work with Vidya Balan, who he was rumoured to be getting cosy with in the past, Bipasha has been busy with other things these days. She has been taking driving and swimming classes.

Bipasha recently went to Kolkata to get her driver’s license made. She said, “I knew a bit of both, but needed to perfect them. I truly admire the people who do free-style swimming. It is like they are dancing in water. I want to do that as well. "

Bipasha added, “And with driving, well, I was never inclined towards it. But now, I have finally given in and I know it is not that difficult.”

Well, learning new skills can be a lot of fun. And that sure would also distract her from all the fighting she has to do with John over Vidya.

I doesn't like Bachchan presence: Biapsha Basu

Bipasha Basu missed the showing of Shiamak Davar's collection launched by a sportswear company on Thursday night. What's particularly interesting about this bit of news is that Bipasha is the brand ambassador of said company.

A source present at the event says, "Shiamak and Reebok tied up to present his collection of the Bollywood workout program and the fashionable dance collection on Thursday night at a suburban hotel. Bipasha too was invited to the launch as she's the company's brand ambassador. But she didn't turn up even though she was in Mumbai."

The source further says, "Initially, Bipasha had committed to attend but something happened and she didn't turn up at the last moment leaving the organisers flustered. Fortunately, Shiamak saved the show with hiscrew putting a performance put up by specially challenged children.

Apparently, Bipasha was miffed that Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan had also been invited at her event and she wouldn't get solo coverage which she had wanted to promote her film, Aa Dekhen Zara, that released yesterday. Shiamak had sent her T-Shirts with the sportswear logo and design a day before the event but she still didn't go."

Bipasha's spokesperson says, "This is not true at all. It was more a Shiamak event than a Reebok event. Bipasha would have loved to attend it because she's the company's brand ambassador and also because Shiamak is a friend.

She was an invitee and it wasn't imperative that she attend the event. Also the timings clashed with her prior commitment for her movie (Aa Dekhen Zara) promotions and a preview screening on the eve of the film's release. The timings were clashing for both events and hence she couldn't attend the same. The brand had invited her on Tuesday for the event on Thursday and they were informed at the same time about the timing stress."

Bips will next be seen in White Feather Arthouse Films’ Pankh in a super sexy avatar. The actress apparently plays an imaginary character who exists in the protagonist Jerry’s (played by Maradona Rebello) mind.

Kareena Kapoor out-raced Katrina, Bipasha

Kareena Kapoor has strongly believed that she belongs to the big league and makes sure she maintains it. Now there's a buzz that a sequel to Race is coming up.

Now Race wasn't such a well appreciated film but it did well at the box office. Rumour has it that the directors Abbas-Mastan and the lead heroes are all very eager to come out with its sequel. The movie will be called Race 2 and Tips will be producing the sequel too.

Saif Ali Khan is likely to be a part of the film while it's not known whether Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna will be a part of the sequel or not. Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu were the heroines of the movie and Sameera Reddy played a side character. But now only Kareena has been signed as a heroine.

Reports suggest that Kareena will be playing Saif's love interest the film too. Though there's a requirement for another heroine nothing is clear as yet. So we don't know whether Katrina and Bips will be back or not.

As it is, Katrina's character along with Akshaye had died in the first Race. So their return seems unlikely. Now Katrina Kaif wanted to give some competition to Kareena by advertising her multi crore deals just for the sake of it. And the war between Bebo ad Bips was very old until they said they are okay with each other sometime back.

Ajay and Bipasha together!

We all remember this jodi in the very serious film Apaharan and now Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu will be seen sharing screen space once again in a movie produced by Ajay himself!

The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan, and will be directed by Ajay’s friend Rohit Shetty. A comic caper, the film will roll in March and will be shot in Goa.

With Rohit having made Golmaal Returns’ producers maalamaal with its success at the box office, it’s time Shetty made best friend and producer Ajay laugh all the way to the bank. And for that, he’s set on getting the masses to laugh their hearts out as well.

Bipasha Basu heading for Hollywood!

Bipasha Basu (pictured left) has reportedly taken up a Hollywood project, which was earlier rejected by Kareena Kapoor.

The film, titled “Chaimera”, is a thriller and will be directed by Daniel Silverman who made “The Devil Wears Prada”. It will be produced by music director-turned-producer Tabun.

“Chaimera” is said to star Billy Zane and Bipasha in the lead. And what's more, it seems Bipasha has been paid well in advance for the movie.

She is said to be playing an Asian character in the film, which is to be shot in India.

Bipasha to star with Titanic Actor

In a breaking news it was reported that Bipasha Basu has been signed opposite an International project starring Billy Zane and Kunal Kapoor. The film, titled Chai Mera will be music director turned producer Tabun Sutradhar's second International production after Hidden starring Hollywood actor Christopher Atkins.

Sources inform, "Chai Mera is a thriller and will be directed by Hollywood filmmaker Daniel Silverman. Bipasha has got an author backed role and has been paid a huge signing amount for the film. A large part of the film will be shot in India with Billy Zane, famous for his villain's part in the mega successful and multiple Oscar award winning film, Titanic being part of it. Kunal Kapoor will feature in a special appearance but his character is supposed to be very important."

Back in Srinagar to shoot for 'Lamhaa', Bipasha Basu says that she’s not going to risk her life for a film. This is what the dusky beauty says about the issue.

“Too much was made out of the whole thing (when Bips left the schedule in Srinagar earlier). Lamhaa is a difficult film. There was bound to be ups and downs. The producer and director knew why I left. A certain amount of security was promised. The first seven days were absolute chaos – nothing was organised and there was a lack of security,” she said.

“Yes, my work is my life. But then, I’ve a life beyond work. I’m not going to risk my life unnecessarily for any film. Who comes to hold your hand when you’re in pain? Let’s be optimistic,” she added.

She said, “This time, hopefully, we’ll shoot without any trouble. Let’s be sensible about it. Lamhaa is a sensible film and it would be difficult for audiences to follow (the language and behaviour of the local Kashmiri girls, which she’d planned to learn earlier). At the end of the day, we’re making a commercial film.”

“I love working with Rahul Dholakia (the director of Lamhaa ). He’s fun and funny. We’ve a strange equation. He looked at me at the start and asked if I am a method actor. I liked that. It showed the director had enough respect in me to first find out what kind of an actress I am,” she added.

Bipasha did RNBDJ in the hope of doing a full-length role with Shah Rukh'

Bipasha Basu, who abruptly left the shooting schedule of 'Lamhaa' in Kashmir last year, says she left in a huff because a certain security she had been promised wasn't provided at the location. "Too much was made out of the whole thing.'Lamhaa' is a difficult film.

There was bound to be ups and downs. The producer and director knew why I left. A certain amount of security was promised. The first seven days were absolute chaos - nothing was organised and there was lack of security.

"Yes, my work is my life. But then I've a life beyond work. I'm not going to risk my life unnecessarily for any film. Who comes to hold your hand when you're in pain? Let's be practical," Bipasha told us. Bipasha has now returned to Kashmir to shoot for 'Lamhaa', with the assurance from the producer Bunty Walia and director Rahul Dholakia of beefed-up security.

After last year's incident, Bipasha's security is of special concern and her co-star Sanjay Dutt, in fact, proceeded to Kashmir a day ahead of her to ensure the atmosphere is conducive for the actress to resume shooting.

The actress, who starred in last year's first big hit 'Race', says she thoroughly, enjoyed her cameo in the song 'Phir milenge chalte chalte' in '‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’'. "It was like Mumtaz-meets-Sadhana. I loved it! I got a chance to work with Shah Rukh Khan, nothing else matters. Like millions, I had seen him on screen. Then I met him for a show and I was very impressed.

"I did 'Rab Ne...' in the hope of doing a full-length role with Shah Rukh and a film with Aditya Chopra. That one day of shooting with Shah Rukh was memorable. He's the nicest superstar I've ever met and irresistibly charming. This was my chance to dance." Bipasha hasn't signed any films after Dholakia's 'Lamhaa'.

"Before that I only have 'Aa Dekhe Zaraa' with Neil Nitin Mukesh. I just don't feel like signing anything until I'm convinced about it. With 'Lamhaa' it was an instant affinity to the role. And I love working with Rahul Dholakia. He's fun and funny. We've a strange equation," said Bipasha.
