Mallika without clothes in Movie Hissss!

Has Mallika Sherawat given a scene without clothes in her upcoming Hollywood film Hissss is the first question that comes to mind after watching its trailer. Just recently, the first promo of the much in news anticipated Mallika Sherawat starrer Hissss is out and we must admit it does make for an interesting watch.

The promo gives the impression that it is a no nonsense thriller that is certainly not meant for the faint hearted as it has plenty of blood and gore. A surefire Adults Only certificate cannot be ruled out from Indian Censor Board.

The trailer shows Mallika Sherawat slithering in mud and becoming a deadly snake. She is shown covered in a body suit that fits her like second skin and during many times while watching the trailer it gives the impression that Mallika hasn't worn anything. There are sequences shown with many murders happening. In one scene Mallika is shown slithering up a tree and baring her fangs and shocks your wits. Then in another scene she is shown transformed into a helpless woman. Also seen in the trailer are the film’s other Indian stars, Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta.

The plot of Hissss revolves around a snake woman played by Mallika Sherawat looking for revenge. Irrfan and divya dutta play a couple and reportedly there is a very passionately shot lovemaking scene between the two. The film appears high on Special effects.

Sexy Mallika's a pure soul

If apsara Menaka could seduce sage Vishvamitra, then our Bollywood seductress Mallika Sherawat too could distract a ‘mutt’ful of sadhus!

But that was not why Shreemad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji, the 36th pontiff of Shree Ramachandrapura Mutt, sent a special invitation to the actress to visit his ashram in Karnataka.

The sizzling actress, who has apparently been approached to play a celibate yogini who bonds with Jesus Christ during his journey to India in Australian director Drew Heriot’s The Aquarian Gospel, was referred to by the mutt’s guru as one with “a pure soul”. And in her honour, he organised special pujas by a number of high priests from Kerala and Mangalore. The mutt was even decorated with 600 lotus flowers.

Her ‘purity’ apart, Mallika has another connection with Karnataka and that’s not a “myth” — she shot for Jackie Chan’s film The Myth in Hampi in which she played an Indian princess.

Mallika, of course, couldn’t turn down the Shankaracharya’s request and flew down from LA where she was busy with post-production of her film Hisss. After the pujas, Mallika with her bare hands dug up the land where Brahmachari Lord Hanuman’s largest monument — over 15 stories — will be built.

After the Shankaracharya showed the hottie his kindness, it was Mallika’s turn to show her generosity. She invited him to the US. If the pontiff accepts her invitation, he would be the first Shankaracharya in the history of the mutt to have travelled to the US.

Mallika is completely in awe of the Shankaracharya. “After having spent most of my time recently in the US, it was a great honour for me to make a special trip back to India to meet the Shankaracharya. In a very special way it reconnected me to my Hindu roots. The experience was truly one of the best ones of my life and I will never forget it,” said the Menaka, oops, Mallika of Bollywood.

Mallika was Auctioned!

Mallika Sherawat, who is in Los Angeles (for the last three weeks now), attended a wine-tasting luncheon on March 15 at the Malibu Family Wines in California where she was invited as a special guest.

The event was a fundraiser hosted by the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). The guests and invitees had to bid for a wine-tasting dinner for 12 people with Ashok Amritraj, CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment.

It was supported by Wells Fargo, and featured a guided tour of the vineyard, wine-tasting, a celebrity auction along with a lunch and a peek at IFFLA 2009.

Says a source close to the actress, "Mallika doesn't drink and hence did not taste the wine.

She was just more than happy about being invited by IFFLA to be a part of the fundraiser and giving her the opportunity to meet the NRI community and to discover its culture something she is so curious about."

The source adds, "She was particularly kicked about the Celebrity Live Auction event, which offered the winner the chance to spend a day with Mallika at a professional photo shoot.

And a chance to enjoy lunch on the set with Mallika and have his/her picture taken with the actress by a professional celebrity photographer.

The photo shoot with Mallika Sherawat was sold for $1400.

The funds would go to IFFLA, a non-profit organisation devoted to a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing films, honouring entertainment industry performers and business executives, and promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian diaspora."

After IFFLA, Mallika intends catching up with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler with whom she's on messaging terms. The actress will be in the US for another month.

Mallika and Shradha to rock Country Club

Shradha Sharma, Mallika Sherawat and Adnan Sami have been recently roped in to hype the on-going party at Country Club says a source.

The three are expected to perform at different venues this month. According to the event was supposed to be part of V Day celebrations but was later changed to a different date to avoid any confrontation with the moral brigade.

While Shradha and Mallika will do stage performances Adnan will pour his heart out through song. Shradha's performance will include 20 dancers and comprises of four special acts said a source associated with the event.

While Shradha confirmed her participation at this event, the other artistes were unavailable for comment. "Yes I am performing at this event," said Shradha.

Mallika's Erotic Thriller Forbidden

Mallika Sherawat was planning to seduce audiences again but it was not to be. A movie that was supposed to have her as a seductress has been shelved even before it could roll.

These days, Mallika has been covered up in some of her films but was supposed to be back to where she belonged with an erotic thriller by producer Ratan Jain. Titled Forbidden, it was supposed to be directed by a newcomer named Manish Gupta.

Mallika was supposed to play a debauched woman who seduces her stepson. Tusshar Kapoor and many others were considered for the role and Aditya Seal, who debuted opposite Manisha Koirala in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story, was finalized. But due to differences between the producer and the director, the project couldn't take off.

Manish Gupta has moved on to another project titled Stoneman Murders and put Forbidden on the backseat. This prompted the film's producer to shelve the project altogether.

Well, the fans of Mallika must have been sad not to see her in yet another overtly feisty and sexy role!

Mallika met Barbara and Hrithik losing his touch

It all started when Hrithik Roshan’s sister, Sunaina Roshan decided to pay Mallika Sherawat a friendly visit while the latter was in Filmistan Studios shooting for Hissss.

Sunaina had accompanied her brother to the sets of Kites. After her chat with Mallika, Sunaina invited Mallika over to meet Barbara Mori, who was shooting with Hrithik.

And, what do you know, the two hot women actually bonded. Mallika and Barbara took quite a liking to each other and have formed a mutual admiration society.

Mallika was all praises for the hot Mexican actress, describing her as ‘sexy’. She also thought that it was very friendly of Barbara to spend time chatting with her. Barbara, we hear, reciprocated the feelings.

Love her or hate her but you can’t ignore her. That’s Mallika Sherawat for you. Recently, we heard (one more) interesting bit of hush-hush news about one of Mallika’s films. After doing bold roles in Khwaish and Murder, the actress was all set to play a seductress in Forbidden.

According to sources, Mallika was quite excited about her role in the erotic thriller (which doesn’t surprise us). Unfortunately for Mallika, the film was shelved.

The film was to be produced by Ratan Jain and directed by debutant Manish Gupta. The entire film was to be shot in a palatial villa in England. Interestingly, the script required Mallika to seduce her 20-something step son.

“Mallika had some qualms when it came to who would play her step son. She did not want any well-known face for the role. At one time, Tusshar Kapoor was considered and the producers had a meeting with him. But, Mallika refused to work with Tusshar. Left with no choice, Ratan Jain and Manish Gupta finally signed Aditya Seal who had made his debut as Manisha Koirala’s juvenile admirer in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story,” said our source.

All was going well and Manish Gupta was scheduled to go to UK to finalise the location when he suddenly learnt the film had been shelved. “Later, Manish learnt that Ratan Jain did not want him to direct Bobby Bedi’s film Stoneman Murders, which he was also supposed to make. Manish was told that he solely concentrate on Forbidden or opt out. Manish chose to direct Bedi’s film instead of Jain’s.” said our source.

Manish Gupta confirmed that he was to direct Forbidden with Mallika Sherawat in the lead. When asked if Ratan Jain had given him an ultimatum, a tactful Manish said, “I was unable to direct Forbidden because I started work on Stoneman Murders at the same time.”

When asked why Forbidden was shelved, Ratan Jain said, “Is it necessary for me to tell all this? I don’t want to talk about it.” While Ratan Jain and Manish Gupta continue their fight, Mallika we suppose is desperately looking for another sizzling role to put her flagging career back on track.
