She said that the only man in her life is her father who is managing her career at this moment and for the record she has never been involved in a relationship with any guy in her life.

The actress who acts with Salman Khan in her next movie London Dreams is in all praise for him. When asked to compare between Salman and Aamir she said it was impossible as both of them were legends in their own right. Preity Zinta’s Loud Party on her Birthday

Mumbai Police played party pooper at Bollywood actress Preity Zinta's birthday bash after slum-dwellers in the neighbourhood complained of loud music early Sunday morning. A police patrol team 'called on' Zinta's flat in Quantum Park building in Bandra and ordered them to turn down the volume of the loudspeakers following complaints from other residents in the area, around 2 a.m., an official of Khar police station told IANS here. The police official said that the actress will be penalised as per the provisions for flouting noise pollution rules. A local resident, Irfan Shaikh, said that very loud music was played in the party which started late Saturday and continued till the early hours Sunday. "Whenever there is music or programmes in the slum areas, these people in big buildings complain against us and we have to shell out large fines. We also get disturbed and so we complained to the police," he told media persons here Sunday morning. Shaikh claimed that initially the police did not respond to their calls for help. It was only after repeated pleas that they intervened, he said, adding that soon after the police left, the volume was again turned full blast. It is understood that other Bollywood bigwigs, including Shahrukh Khan, Farah Khan, Chunky Pandey and others were present at the birthday bash, which wound up this morning.

Katrina goes deglam

The world's sexiest woman (2008) has decided to shed her glamourous image for her role in critically acclaimed filmmaker Prakash Jha's Rajniti.

The change of image is not restricted to her wardrobe alone; Katrina will also be required to speak in a certain dialect, for which she is undergoing voice modulation classes.

Katrina Kaif said, "My role in Rajniti has different shades - I start off as a particular way and end up as a completely changed persona. The character is immensely challenging and it is a huge responsibility to carry off such a character.

I am very excited to work with Prakash Jha, who is known for his kind of cinema and believes in involving himself in every department of his films. In a couple of days, I will be shooting for the film in Bhopal where I have scenes with a crowd of around 500 and I am gearing up for it."

Filmmaker Jha is helping Katrina to slip into her role by guiding her. Katrina revealed, "Prakash Jha is so involved in my characterisation that he is choosing the fabrics for the clothes for my character.

He is so clued in that he knows exactly what he wants for an actor and that makes the transition of my character all the more challenging."

Ask Katrina if she is undergoing voice modulation for her character as the buzz is that she will be seen in a completely deglam look in the second part of the film and she says, "I can't reveal anything about the transition of my character but yes I am also doing the voice modulation as I need to speak in a certain way toward the end of the film."

So committed is Katrina in putting her heart and soul into her role in Rajniti that she was unable to do Rohit Shetty's next film with Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt. Katrina said, "It is unfortunate that I had to opt out of that film as I had date problems."

I need Salman like Tutuor: Arbaaz Khan

Despite rendering a good performance in Fashion, Arbaaz Khan’s still finding it difficult to make his mark in Bollywood.

The actor who will be seen with Randeep Hooda and Raima Sen in a forthcoming film, has reportedly been extremely upset with its makers for letting his co-stars hog all the limelight in the film and during its promotion.

A unit hand of Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye told us, “Arbaaz is very disappointed with the film and its makers, as they have not involved him in any promotional campaigns for the film. Even the poster of the film has very limited exposure for the actor. It’s just Randeep Hooda and Raima Sen who are getting all the attention.” Well, Arbaaz, we suggest that you take some ‘attention grabbing’ tips from bhai Salman Khan. Intentionally or unintentionally, he manages pretty well!

Aish won't accept award without Dad

The French are an emotional people.

But even they must not have been prepared for Aishwarya Bachchan’s response when they conferred their prestigious Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres honour on the pretty Bollywood actress.
“Thank-you, but not now,” is what Ash is reported to have told the French government when its second highest civilian award was announced in her name. Incidentally, this honour has been conferred earlier on Hollywood actors Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. And, on Shah Rukh Khan as well. There’s only one higher French civilan honour — the Legion d’honour which father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, Satyajit Ray and Pandit Ravi Shankar have received.

However, Ash was not turning down the French award. She was just putting it off until her ailing father, Krishna Raj Rai, was well enough to attend the award ceremony. “I wanted my entire family — and that includes my parents, brother, sister-in-law, my husband and his parents, sister and brother-in-law — to be there. My father has been unwell and I wanted him to be there at this important moment,” said Ash. “It will be a glorious moment. But not without my father!” Now that Krishna is well enough, Ash has asked the French government to go ahead with the ceremony. It is likely to be held in Paris when the actress attends the world premiere of her film, Pink Panther 2. “My father will have to brave the long flight. There’s a long list of dos and don’ts for him. But worth it, don’t you think,”Ash said.

Twitter.com is a popular messaging service where millions of people send messages through web, SMS and other desktop based applications. Twitter is popular in USA and is gaining popularity in India as well. Recently, 3 bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Dutt allegedly created accounts on the social messaging service and started messaging.

Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Dutt's accounts seem to send automated messages, when a news about each of them is published on the Internet. The alleged Shahrukh Khan's account messages (also known as tweets) are not automated and sent by person. However, all the messages are nothing much but already known information on the web. Unlike Big B's blog, there are no personal and exclusive pictures or information. Some of the tweets are:

The profile picture is cropped from the picture available on Google Image Search.

We don't think it is the real Shahrukh Khan, but it seems like it could be either a fan or perhaps even an employee at Red Chillies. We are waiting on for a comment on this from Red Chillies as well as Farhan Akhtar. Bollywood fans are hoping to see more of their favorite stars using technology to get connected with their fans. Some well-known people who are using Twitter to their advantage are Barrack Obama, Britney Spears and even Sanjay Leela Bhansali for promoting Saawariya.
